Job Description
- Responsible for locating and correcting all DDA/COD/SAV/LAS/DDL/FMS for all items that non post and the reconcilement of the account.
- Processes both incoming and outgoing return items along with high dollar notification
- Processes garnishments and levies and reclamations customer account
- Prints, reviews for accuracy, and mails customer interest checks.
- Processes all ACH disputes and reclamations and resolves all incoming ACH returns.
- Maintains all return mail, dormant accounts and customer accounts (may include KMN account maintenance).
- Verifies maintenance and new account input for Stop Payments and 1099. Works with branches and customers when information is not correct.
- Opens and changes General Ledger accounts according to Standards.
- Files accounting reports such as FR2900 with Fed each week. Balances backup withholding and make IRS payment each week.
- Completes research requests for CO Banks and helps resolve service issues for our customers.
- Processes Collection Items – domestic and foreign.
- Reviews various reports including: Positive Pay, Suspect Kiting/ Security Exceptions and Account Exception reports. Makes necessary correcting entries.
- Rate Changes for all Institution 13 branches
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
- Knowledge of FiServ preferred.
- Knowledge of Windows based programs preferred.
- Skills in good customer service and telephone courtesy.
- Ability to operate a PC with keyboard accuracy and speed.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet critical deadlines and have constant interruptions while doing assigned responsibilities including reconcilement, verification and computer input.
- High School or equivalent.
- Banking experience preferred.
